Other regulars had their roles and Thabo Sefoloshia , Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins combined for 14 points in the game. Maynor chipped in with 19 points for the game. Dallas Mavericks News and Betting Tips for Saturday, May 21, 2011

The defense was there when the regulars were on the floor but the reserves took over. The Mavericks were led with 29 points by Dirk Nowitzki  which is 19 less than Game 1. He got those points by shooting 10 for 17 from the field and canned 9 free throws on 10 attempts. He was alone for the most part in scoring as no other regular got more than 15 points. The rest of the team combined their shooting to hit 8 shots in 28 field goal attempts. Shawn Marion was aggressive on the boards by hauling down six offensive rebounds but shot just 4 of 13 from the field.

Our Mavericks vs. Thunder Pick and Predictions

Oklahoma City loves to play at home and their fans will be raucous. Dallas has to find someone that can complement Nowitzki on the floor. He can not continue to do this all by himself. If the Thunder gets the same production form the bench they will not lose. How will Westbrook respond to the benching as he lost valuable time in Game 2? The Thunder are 26-6 following a loss this season.  Look for the Mavericks to make a big push and this game becomes more physical than it already is. Our pick for your bet is that the Thunder -2.5 will cover the spread at home.

Our Pick: Thunder -2.5
