Mavericks vs. Heat Betting Overview

It was about time that Chris Bosh showed his skill level in the NBA finals. He has been allowing Dwayne Wade and LeBron James to do all the work. Miami now holds a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-seven series. This game will take place in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Center. Let’s preview the teams.

Dallas Mavericks News and Betting Tips for Tuesday, June 07, 2011

Dallas believes they can come back from duble digit deficit at any time and win. No so fast. They were down 14 in Game 3 and had a chance but couldn’t pull it off. Dirk Nowitzki had 34 points in the loss and just about sent it in to overtime but it fell off the rim. The Mavericks had 11 turnovers and will need to handle the ball in a better fashion than they did in Game 3. However, Miami has a strong defensive presence and that causes many turnovers. The Dallas bench shot just 8 for 24 in the Game 3 loss and is at a paltry 30 percent (20 for 66) in the series. Dallas reserve J.J. Barea has scored only 13 points in the first three games in the series. The speedy guard is shooting just 5 for 23 from the floor, including 1 for 8 from long range.

Miami Heat News and Betting Tips for Tuesday, June 07, 2011

Miami is up by a game but the same problems continue to plague them, Poor shot selection and decision making late in games are the areas they must improve on in order to win. Wade had 29 points and 11 rebounds and was a shiny spot on the Heat roster. Bosh was 7 for 18 from the floor and James shot 6 for 14 to struggle. Mario Chalmers was also a factor, hitting four 3-pointers in a reserve role. James is averaging just over 20 points against Dallas, well below his totals over the Heat’s first three playoff encounters.

Our Heat vs. Mavericks Pick and Predictions

LeBron James wasn’t happy when the media questioned his level of game after Game 3. He responded with, “You should watch the film again and see what I did defensively, and you ask me a better question tomorrow.”  Looking at the series it has been a very close affair and home court hasn’t always been a deciding factor. If Chris Bosh joins the other two to form the Big Three then Miami is set. They must control the boards and contain anyone that in not Dirk Nowitzki to win. The Mavericks have to get Jason Terry involved to have a chance. Look for Miami to cover the -3 spread for this game. Our Pick: Heat -3
