Butler enters with a 28-9 record and has won 14 straight games. they hail from the Horizon Conference. One of their leaders is Shelvin Mack who led the team over VCU with 24 points and shot 8 for 11 from the field. He also harnessed six rebounds and shot five of six from the 3-point line.

Matt Howard chipped in with 11 free throws and he has a season average of 16.7 points per game.  Junior Ronald Nored is the defensive tone-setter. A shutdown on-ball defender, Nored will face his toughest challenge yet in trying to contain Huskies superstar Kemba Walker.

Our Bulldogs vs. Huskies Pick and Predictions

This is a defensive game. Can Butler stop Walker? Will Butler two headed leaders of MAck and Howard be too much for the Huskies? Who will make the most turnovers? Butler is a very sound team and probably have that advantage but the Huskies have too much offensive power. Look for 34 yr old coach Brad Stevens of Butler attempt to run the ball a bit more and 68 yr old UConn coach John Calhoun will be prepared. The odds have UConn at -3.5 and we feel they will cover the spread for this game.

Our Pick: UConn -3.5
