All Stars vs. All Stars Betting Overview

The best players from the National Football League will collide on Sunday evening in the 2011 Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl teams were voted on, and most of the stars will play in the game, with the exception of those that are injured, or who are playing in the Super Bowl. Green Bay and Pittsburgh players would love to be in sunny Honolulu, Hawaii – but are much better off in Dallas playing in the Super Bowl. Last season the Pro Bowl was played in Miami at Sun Life Stadium, but after much discussion, the NFL moved in back to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. Let’s take a look at both teams, and later we will give you our pick on the Pro Bowl.

The NFC team features quarterback Michael Vick, Matt Ryan and Drew Brees. One notable name that did not make the Pro Bowl team from the NFC was Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The running backs for the NFC inlcude Adrian Peterson, Michael Turner and Stephen Jackson. Greg Jennings was originally on the wide receiver core for the NFC, but will have to miss the game. Those playing include Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, Jason Witten and Tony Gonzalez. Mike Smith, the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons will run the show for the NFC. Defensively, Patrick Willis, Brian Urlacher. Antrel Rolle, Adrian Wilson and Charles Woodson lead the group of stud stars. Look out for the punt return game from the NFC with Devon Hester, DeSean Jackson and Eric Weems back there.

Brian Belichick’s defense will include Jerod Mayo, Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Brandon Meriweather, Cameron Wake and Richard Seymour, among many others.

Our All Stars vs. All Stars Pick and Predictions

The line for this game is a pick’em. Almost anytime you put two All Star teams together it is very difficult to pick a true winner in this game. We do like the AFC to win the game, so therefore we are picking the AFC to cover the spread. Why we like the AFC? Peyton Manning never takes a game off, no matter what the stakes are. We look for Manning to be sharp and speedy Arian Foster to have himself a great game. Take the AFC in a pick’em over the NFC on Sunday evening’s Pro Bowl game!
