Rams vs. Redskins Betting Overview

The Washington Redskins will look to get back on track Sunday, as they head to St. Louis to take on the Rams. The Redskins are in a three way tie with the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants for first place in the NFC East. Washington picked up wins over the Giants and Cardinals in the first two weeks, before falling to Dallas on Monday Night Football. St. Louis, after falling one win from the postseason last year, are 0-3, and have looked ugly in the making. The Rams have seen the Eagles, Giants and Ravens take care of them thus far. St. Louis has been outscored 96-36 on the season.

St. Louis Rams News and Betting Tips for Sunday, October 02, 2011

The St. Louis Rams need a win in a bad way. Steve Spagnulo is seeking answers, along with his new offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. The Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has had a tough time getting the offense going, while running back Stephen Jackson continues to miss time with a hamstring injury. The Rams defense has not been great as well, especially against the run. St. Louis ranks dead last in all of the National Football League defending against the run game. The Rams are allowing 174.3 yards per game on the ground. The Rams will head into their bye week during week five. Following that, the schedule does not get any easier, as they play at Green Bay, Dallas and then host New Orleans.

Washington Redskins News and Betting Tips for Sunday, October 02, 2011

The Washington Redskins had very low expectations coming into the new season. Quarterback Rex Grossman made national news this off-season, as he said his team was the team to beat in the division. Thus far, Grossman has been partially right. Washington has seen first year running back Tim Hightower run the football for 209 yards and a touchdown through three games. The Redskins also head into their bye week following this game. After the bye week, Washington will host divisional rival Philadelphia during week six.

Our Redskins vs. Rams Pick and Predictions

The Washington Redskins and St. Louis Rams are both in need of a win.  The Rams just seem to be a team that are going to find major struggles all season long. If Stephen Jackson plays, this team will look a little different. Problem is, Jackson still does not appear to be as healthy as the team wants him to be. If Rex Grossman takes care of the football, the Washington offense will be in great shape. We expect Grossman and Hightower to have a nice Sunday against St. Louis. The Redskins are the favorite in this game, despite being on the road. Washington, at -1.5 is the pick for us in this game.
