NFL Wildcard Weekend Picks and Predictions
The National Football League has started it’s postseason, and the first set of games are known as wildcard weekend. There will be four games this weekend, four games the following weekend, then two games, before a week off, and then the Super Bowl starts in February. We have done our research and our ready to give you our favorite NFL Playoff bets for Wildcard Weekend 2018.
Kansas City Chiefs -8 over Tennessee Titans
The Kansas City Chiefs started hot, went into a major slump, and now have found their groove once again. The Chiefs have the top running back in the league by yards gained this season in Kareem Hunt. The Titans have not been a real good defense against the run this season, so it’s hard to picture them coming up with enough stops in this game. If they stop the run, Alex Smith to Tyreke Hill seems to be a popular play. The Kansas City Chiefs should win this game and win it easily of the Titans. Tennessee was bailed out getting into the postseason, and it will be short lived.
Atlanta Falcons +6 over Los Angeles Rams
It’s been a fun story for Sean McVay, Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams, but unfortunately it comes to an end at home. The defending NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons have been battle tested this season, and they made it into the postseason. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones are a connection that the Rams will have a tough time defending against. Look for the Falcons defense to get the job done against the elite running back of Todd Gurley. The Falcons win on the road, and get a chance at the Eagles in Round 2.
Jacksonville Jaguars -8 over Buffalo Bills
This is a playoff game between Tyrod Taylor and Blake Bortles. Who would have guessed these two would be playing in the postseason with a chance to meet up against the Steelers or Patriots in Round 2? The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking for some consistency from quarterback Blake Bortles. If he can handle the football, and give it to Leonard Fournette early and often – the Jaguars should be able to win this game. Look for the home team to win this game and Buffalo to have their story book ending come to an end.
Carolina Panthers +7 over New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints whipped the Carolina Panthers twice this season, and that gives them the edge in this game according to many. Not so fast. Cam Newton has been to a Super Bowl, and will not go down without a fight, In fact – this game features a pair of teams that have a quarterback that has been in the Super Bowl. Look for Cam Newton to bring his top game and exploit an overachieving Saints defense. Carolina goes on the road and beats the Saints in the opening round.
Best of luck with all your National Football League betting. We are looking forward to the games, and have a pretty good grasp on who we want to bet on. Enjoy the games, use good bankroll management and take down the sportsbooks!
