Thanksgiving NFL Action: Preview and Picks for All 3 Games
There are a trio of games in the National Football League on Thanksgiving Day. The games start at 11:30am CT and will not be finished until 10:00pm CT or later in the night. Let’s take a look at the Thanksgiving NFL Action and give you our picks for all 3 games:
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
The first game of the day features a pair of NFC North teams. The Minnesota Vikings are at the Detroit Lions. The Vikings are winners of 6 straight games, while the Lions have won 3 in a row. The Vikings are 8-2 and the Lions are 6-4. Matthew Stafford has been through plenty of these Thanksgiving Day games, and seems to have the skill to take down a red hot Minnesota team. The Vikings just keep winning games despite their array of injuries. Look for Stafford and company to pull the home upset here. Take the Detroit Lions +2 over the Minnesota Vikings.
Los Angeles Chargers at Dallas Cowboys
Phillip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers suddenly find themselves with a chance at the postseason out of the AFC. The Chargers are coming off an absolute blowout win over the Buffalo Bills last week. The Chargers now have 4 wins, and just a game behind for the 2nd wildcard in the AFC. The Chargers also have Melvin Gordon, who is hard to take down. If the Cowboys had a tough time with Jay Ajayi last week – good luck with Gordon. Dallas has so many injuries on both sides of the football. Dallas is in big time trouble. The Cowboys have a Thanksgiving Day game every year, but the Chargers are going to come to town and ruin it this season. Bet on the Los Angeles Chargers in a pick’em over the Dallas Cowboys in the middle game on Thanksgiving Day!
New York Giants at Washington Redskins
The Thanksgiving Day finale features a pair of NFC East teams. Both teams are at the bottom of the division, and getting smashed by the Philadelphia Eagles. The Washington Redskins have dropped back to back games and are now 4-6 on the season. The Redskins had a monster lead over the Saints, only to lose it, and eventually fall in overtime. Washington is seeing Kirk Cousins put up great numbers in what is likely his final season with the team. For the New York Giants, they pulled off the upset of the week in Week 11. The Giants used all field goals to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. The Giants are now 2-8 on the season, and 1-4 when playing on the road. We get Eli Manning in primetime, but that’s not going to matter. The Redskins with the ability to pass the football all over the field are going to torch the Giants in this game. Bet on the Washington Redskins -7 over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Night.
Best of luck with all your National Football League betting. Enjoy the games on the field, and have a great and safe Thanksgiving filled with plenty of Football!
