2018-19 NCAA Basketball Betting Odds

The 2018-19 NCAA Men’s College Basketball season will kick off in less than four months. Villanova defeated Michigan to win the 2017-18 title, and appear to factor into the mix again this season. Below are eight teams with the best betting odds to win the 2018-19 NCAA Championship.

Kentucky +600

Head Coach John Calipari knows how to rebuild a roster, and appears to have done a great job again this season. The Wildcats are bringing in five of the top 40 ranked players in the country, but the biggest addition is Reid Travis. Travis is heading to Kentucky for his senior season after a dominant career at Stanford. The Wildcats are the favorites to win the SEC, and should factor into the National Championship mix.

Duke +650

Duke has had some great recruiting classes in the past, but they pale in comparison to what the Blue Devils are bringing in this year. Coach K signed the three top rated high school players, and now must find a way to gel them together this year. As long as Coach K is at Duke, they will always play a role come March. Duke has all the talent, but now it’s time to see that talent play together.

Kansas +800

The Kansas Jayhawks appear to be good enough to reach another Final 4 this season. The Jayhawks have dominated the Big 12 for more than a decade, and there doesn’t appear to be a real threat to them this season. Bill Self knows how to coach, and he will have his team ready by the time the NCAA Tournament rolls around.

Villanova +850

The 2017-18 NCAA Basketball Champions lost a lot from their title team, but Head Coach Jay Wright is bringing in a top 15 recruiting class. Wright is quickly ascending the ranks as one of the top coaches in college basketball, and the Wildcats will be the favorites to win the Big East yet again. Villanova has established a winning tradition, and the winning should continue this season.

Gonzaga +950

The Gonzaga Bulldogs have gone from perennial Cinderella to perennial power, and they should be great again this season. Gonzaga lost their leading scorer in Johnathan Williams III, but still have a very talented roster returning. Coach Mark Few continues to get great players to come to Spokane, Washington, and he knows how to coach them up once they are there. Gonzaga will be a top team come March Madness.

Nevada +1000

The Nevada Wolf Pack reached the Sweet 16 this past season, but they look to be even better this year. The 29 win team is returning five of their top six scorers, and are also adding a stud recruit in forward Jordan Brown. Twins, Caleb and Cody Martin, are back to lead the Wolf Pack, who have a legitimate shot of reaching the first Final Four in school history. Nevada is for real, and has one of the best rosters in all of college basketball.

North Carolina +1400

Head Coach Roy Williams has secured commitments from two five star prospects and appears to have reloaded his roster. The Tar Heels are also returning superstar Luke Maye, who has a legitimate shot at being a first team All-American this year. North Carolina and Duke are once again the class of the ACC, and the Tar Heels have a great shot of giving Coach Williams a 4th National Title.

Virginia +1800

The Virginia Cavaliers became the first number 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed in the 2017-18 NCAA Tournament. Head Coach Tony Bennett knows how to coach and he will have his team ready to compete for the title again this season. The Cavaliers bring back 7 of their top 10 players from last season and should challenge UNC and Duke in the ACC.
