In what used to be called the “Harbaugh Bowl” now just has one half of the famous head coaching brothers. Jim Harbaugh is now the head coach at Michigan, while his brother John still guides the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens will travel across the country and take on the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams come into this game struggling on the season; with 1-4 records. The Ravens are coming off a tough 33-30 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Baltimore’s lone win came in Week 4 over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
For the San Francisco 49ers, they won their opening game against the Minnesota Vikings. Since that point, the 49ers have dropped four straight games. The 49ers are coming off a road loss at the New York Giants.
Despite Playing on the Road; Ravens are the Choice Here
The San Francisco 49ers may be the worst team in the National Football League. Jim Tomsula may be in over his head as a head coach, but does not have a ton of talent. Colin Kaepernick has not been very good, and doesn’t have a great supporting cast. The San Francisco 49ers defense is not nearly as sharp as it used to be as well.
For Baltimore, they still feel they have a shot at postseason, despite a 1-4 start. The Ravens will look to get Justin Forsett going in this one, and Joe Flacco is going to take care of the football. I think the easy choice in this game is the Baltimore Ravens -2 over the San Francisco 49ers.
49ers Will Not Hold up Their End of the Bargain Offensively
The San Francisco 49ers just do not score very many points. While Baltimore’s defense is not as deadly as it has been in the past, this game has 20-14 written all over it. Even if it’s 24-17, the under still hits in this game. How will the 49ers get into the end zone in this game more than twice is the good question to ask? Carlos Hyde has shown some ability, but in the end, the San Francisco front line does not hold up well.
The Ravens can score points, but Flacco will look to get the running game going once they get a lead. Look for the Ravens to end around 20-24 points. We feel the pick here is the UNDER 42 in the Ravens/49ers game for Sunday.
Ravens Moneyline is a Good Bet to Make
The Baltimore Ravens are the favorite on the road in this game. We already went through that, and that’s a great bet to make. But, if you are confident that the Baltimore Ravens can win this game, why not look at the Moneyline bet. When you bet the moneyline, you take any point spread out of it.
It’s a straight up bet on who wins the game, and who loses the game. The Baltimore Ravens moneyline bet is at -119, which is pretty good odds for the better team. Take a look at it, and if you are confident with us – take it!
