NFL: 2018 Future Betting – Win Totals

The 2018 NFL season is still a few months away, but it’s never too early to start thinking about projected win totals for all 32 NFL teams. The over/under has been set for all teams and there are great betting opportunities out there. Let’s take a look at five of the best bets in relation to projected win totals.

New England Patriots (11.5)

The New England Patriots fell just short in last year’s Super Bowl, but are one of the top betting favorites to win the Super Bowl this season. Tom Brady is back again this season, and the Patriots had a very solid offseason in terms of bringing in new talent. Bill Belichick knows how to push the right buttons to get the most out of his team, and will do the same this year. The Patriots will dominate the AFC East once again this season, and should have the best record in the AFC at season’s end. The Patriots went 13-3 last season, and appear to be headed for that type of record again. Bet the OVER in New England Patriot wins.

Oakland Raiders (9.5)

The Oakland Raiders had a disappointing 2017-18 NFL season, and they brought in Jon Gruden as their new head coach. The former Raiders coach has a great football mind, but it will be interesting to see how he does after a few years off. Oakland plays in a tough AFC West Division, and it will be hard for them to rack up wins in divisional play. 9.5 wins is a lot for a team that just finished 6-10 last season. Gruden will have an impact, but he’s not worth 4 extra wins this season. Bet the UNDER in this one.

Los Angeles Rams (9)

The Los Angeles Rams made a huge jump last season, and appear to be even better heading into 2018. The Rams have talent on both sides of the ball, and have a real MVP candidate in running back Todd Gurley. The Rams were able to end the Seattle Seahawks reign in the NFC West last season, and Los Angeles now is the team to beat. The Rams were the highest scoring team in the NFL last season, and have brought in even more top talent this offseason. Los Angeles will have to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke, but they have too much talent to not win at least 10 games this year. Bet OVER 9 wins for the Los Angeles Rams.

Jacksonville Jaguars (8)

The Jacksonville Jaguars nearly defeated the Patriots in last year’s AFC Championship game, and proved plenty of people wrong along the way. Blake Bortles took a huge leap in 2017, and was aided by the addition of running back Leonard Fournette. The Jaguars play in the AFC South, which appears to be the worst division in the NFL. Jacksonville should be the favorites to win the AFC South, and have a legitimate shot of reaching the AFC Championship game again. The Jaguars will surpass the 8 win mark, and the OVER should be the pick in this one.

Cleveland Browns (5)

The Cleveland Browns are coming off of a 0-16 season, and don’t appear to be much better this season. Cleveland selected Baker Mayfield with the top overall pick in the NFL Draft, but they still need plenty of help. This appears to be the easiest win total bet out of all 32 teams. The Browns won’t go winless in 2018, but they won’t come close to reaching the 5 win mark. Cleveland will find themselves with the number 1 overall pick in next year’s draft as well. Bet UNDER 5 wins for the Cleveland Browns.

There will be plenty more to come as the NFL season draws closer. Enjoy the offseason and best of luck!
