It’s already Week 16 of the National Football League season. Just two weeks to go, and the playoff races have gotten interesting. There are teams still searching to get into the postseason, and teams that are looking to raise their spot in the standings. Let’s take a look at the biggest games in Week 16 of the National Football League:
Carolina Panthers -10 over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming into the game of a short week. The Buccaneers have nothing to play for, while the Panthers would seal their spot in the postseason with a win. The Panthers are a dangerous team, and playing at home gives them a great advantage. Look for a well played game from Cam Newton as he tears apart the Buccaneers passing defense. Despite this being a double digit spread, the Panthers are going to smash the Buccaneers in Week 16.
Cleveland Browns +7 over Chicago Bears
This game has nothing to do with the postseason, and in fact, these two teams are two of the worst teams in the National Football League. But, the Cleveland Browns are going to win this game. DeShone Kizer to Josh Gordon for the win. Chicago has been up and down, and likely going to get John Fox fired. Why not go out with a bang and lose on Christmas Eve at home to the Browns. Take the Browns to cover this spread, and if you are really adventurous, take the Browns to win the game straight up.
New Orleans Saints -5 over Atlanta Falcons
The NFC South is the toughest division in all of the National Football League. Now, we have two of the best teams going after each other. Both teams need just one more win to make the postseason. The Falcons have the Panthers in Week 17, while the Saints take on the Buccaneers. But, with this game in New Orleans, look for the Saints to get revenge from the Thursday Night Football game in Week 14. Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints top Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Dallas Cowboys -5 over Seattle Seahawks
The Dallas Cowboys are still alive in the hunt to get back to the postseason. Now, they take on a Seattle team that is a dead duck. The Seahawks are in big trouble. The Los Angeles Rams ran all over them, and a loss in this game would send Pete Carroll and his team home for the offseason. Ezekiel Elliott is back in action, and if what Todd Gurley did is any indication – the Cowboys are going to smash the Seahawks.
Houston Texans +10.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers
On Christmas Day in the afternoon – the Houston Texans keep it close, only because the Pittsburgh STeelers have a bit of a let down following their loss to the Patriots. Look for Houston to compete, but in the end, the Steelers win on the road. This game will lead to the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles at night – which we are taking the Raiders +9 in that game.
Best of luck with all your NFL betting for Week 16!
