On Sunday afternoon, it’s a battle of postseason teams from a season ago when the Seattle Seahawks visit the Dallas Cowboys. Both teams are under .500, and in need of a win in this game. The Seahawks are 3-4 on the season, while Dallas comes in with a 2-4 mark. The Seahawks, after losing at Cincinnati and then again at home to Carolina bounced back with a win over the San Francisco 49ers last week.
The Seahawks have Marshawn Lynch back after missing a couple games. That puts Thomas Rawls back as the backup running back for Pete Carroll’s crew.
For Dallas, they won their first two games of the season, and have yet to win again since. The Cowboys are 2-4, which is last place in the NFC East. The Cowboys will not have quarterback Tony Romo back for this game! Joseph Randle is also out for Dallas as well. One bright spot is superstar WR Dez Bryant is planning on returning in this one.
Christine Michael should get his first real opportunity at the running back spot for the Cowboys. Dallas leading receiver has been Jason Witten, the tight end, that has over 340 receiving yards on the season. Let’s take a look at this game to be played in Dallas.
Dallas Too Banged up to Cover
This should be an interesting game, and the Cowboys are seeking to avoid losing their first straight game of the season. The Seahawks would love to find a road win, which would get them to .500 on the season. The Cowboys with a fifth loss would put them in bad shape for the NFC East race. For Seattle, with Arizona continuing to win, they will need to win to keep pace. St. Louis is also ahead of them.
Obviously it’s a big game for both teams, but Seattle seems to bae in better shape here. The bet to make in this game is the Seattle Seahawks -4 over the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are too banged up and have too many question marks to cover this game against a determined Seattle team. Look for Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Jimmy Graham to have a big game with the offense.
Look at the Total Points
The Dallas Cowboys have Matt Cassell as their quarterback. While he was better than Brandon Weeden, it’s still not Tony Romo. Despite saying that, at home, the Cowboys should be able to reach 20 points in this game. The Cowboys defense has been okay, but Marshawn Lynch with open space is going to be tough.
With Seattle winning this game, they are going to be nearing 30 points. The total for this game is 41.5, so our bet would easily be take the OVER in the game between Seattle and Dallas on Sunday afternoon.
Halftime Bets are Worth the Risk
It’s kind of like a double or nothing type bet here. If you are confident in the Seattle Seahawks, why not be confident they roll from the beginning? We look for the Seahawks to get off to a good start, and run the football. The Cowboys playing from behind are going to struggle.
The 1st half bet for this game is the Seattle Seahawks -2, and that seems like a great bet to make. Less than a field goal in the first half is pretty good money chance. The bet to make here is the Seattle Seahawks -2 1H over the Dallas Cowboys!
